Edible Beer?

There aren't that many coffee places that serve decent Italiano Coffee in Hong Kong, Caffe Vergnano 1882 is one of my recent favourites.

Their coffees flavour rich with complex notes and seldom fail to satisfy.  Apart from coffees, light meals such as pasta or panini are found in their menus too, but those were of varying standards.  Nonetheless, I do praise them for their daring innovations in terms of coming up with new recipes every now and then. 

They are currently doing a special promotion on dishes that are cooked with traditional brewery of an Italian beer - Birra Moretti.  

For a limited time only (riding on the World Cup fever no doubt), beer will be added to salad dressings and you will find their Margherita pizza featuring a tomato beer sauce!

What really attracted me was one of the desserts - their Homemade Beer Ice Cream as shown in this menu.
