Hong Kong shoppers and passersby have been bewildered to free hugs offered by a group who say they want to "bring human contact back into the lives of isolated urban dwellers".
Apparently, they have been around for years and it's part of a social movement that belongs to the free hug campaign worldwide. Everyone can use a bit of a hug.
We have become such a dog-and-cat petting society that we have almost forgotten how to pet the people who matter most to us!
Next time you write "XOXO" at the end of your note to your loved ones, how about consider giving the person real hugs and kisses?
