Zheng Jie was the first Chinese to reach a Grand Slam semi-final in history and I am so thrilled. She got into Wimbledon this year only because she was given a wild card. However, she has justified that by beating four seeds on her way to the semi-final clash with Serena. Her baseline bashes were awesome!!
Would definitely support her all the way, I have had enough of the Apes - The Williams sisters!

I think she had a few injuries...and was quite good any way...just plummeted down the rankings as she recovered. Good luck to her...maybe she can go all the way!
P.S. Actually...I'm impressed she did part of her interview in English! A true modern day athlete...not just a production line sportswoman from the Chinese academy!
