How Does It Feel To be Inside A Hangbag?

One of the most sought-after handbags of recent years has to be Hermès' Kelly bag, a timeless piece made famous and iconic by Grace Kelly in the 50s.

Something hardly comes to my imagination - I mean me - dangling with one, but have you ever wonder how it feels to be tossed around inside a handbag? 

Now you can step inside a giant Kellydoscope and watch a film of its owner's journey and feel the motion of the bag as it moves.  

Life inside a Kelly bag...what can I say but goodness gracious!

Am I Switching Camp?

Man, this is an easy call.  The answer is, no of course not. 

I was just a little bit distracted and leaned towards Adidas just a little.  Most probably due to peer pressure.  

I still love NIKE, I haven't switched camp. But I must admit, these are 2 very cool items I purchased, esp the reversible belt there.  

Elevated Sneakers

An inch short in height?  Iijin's sneakers with a wicked hidden platform might be the answer for that extra reach that you are looking for.

The Korean designer got the idea to make elevated sneakers because she only wears high heels and has never owned a pair of sneakers - simply find flats too flat to wear.

Been shopping around in town for these. Found 4 places that carry this brand of sneakers and totally spoiled with choices on colours and styles. 

When I have decided on the pair I want, I must also locate the best price to get them because to complicate matters, all of the 4 outlets have different price tags, believe it or not!

The Anti Shoe

MBT refused to call it a shoe as they believe shoes are against human nature.  Their shoes all have these characteristics:

• soles are ultra thick and curved
  
• they rock happily and not meant to create stability at all
  
• they will activate your muscles instead of undermining them

In other words, they are saying it is the anti-thesis of a shoe!

On first site, their trainers look like the sort of thing you need to wear if one of your legs is shorter than the other, aren't they?  

BUT...

MBT is telling us that you can get a workout just by wearing and walking (and even standing upright) with their shoes.  That alone can tone your body, improve posture and ease back pain.

It all sounds crazily good to be true. 

Very tempted.  Has anyone tried?  Do they really work?

Gladiator Shoes

This historic fashion is back with a shout and has become the trendiest style of shoes in the market - the gladiator shoes! 

Do you happen to have a pair or two?

Sorry, no offense...but I personally think it's a trend that should die.  These gladiator sandals are so terribly outstanding and yet outstandingly terrible. 

Seriously, if we stop buying them, may be they will stop making them, hopefully? 

Never Too Many

It is particularly hard to know when to say when. With winter coming to an end and summer round the corner, it seemed the perfect time to force the question - when is enough enough? 

Is it possible to have too many pairs of shoes?  Can a woman have too many of these?

That is...only if I lack storage space.   

So why are we so obsessed??

I think it is because our shoe size does not alter no matter how much weight we put on. My feet can always look good, no matter how the rest of me looks.  

So the conclusion: We can never have too many pairs of footwear.  It's more likely to NOT have the right shoes than too many.

Based on that - this pair followed me home today at Summer sales, they will happily be hyphenating in my shoe cabinet for a good half a year - till this Winter.   

The Most Hideous Footwear

The first time I came across Crocs (not the Dutch's), I could hardly believe there existed such a horrendous design of footwear.  And that must have been, what, 3 years ago. 

A friend recently wore a pair of Crocs and I couldn't take my eyes off them.  It was like...the scene of a car crash, you did not want to look but you just have to!  Her feet are huge and her pair was in the most luminous possible yellow, which made them all the uglier (if that is even possible!).

The designers who came up with these revolting shoes must have tried their darn best to beautify them with cute colours, but sorry to say, they stubbornly remain rather ugly to me 3 years down the road.

Anyway, they are just too awful for me to even take photos of them.   Instead, I am giving you the most comfy footwear that I will miss if they come apart one day.  

I am not saying Crocs aren't comfy, but please...promise you will shoot me if you ever see me slip on one of those revolting things called Crocs.

"Asian-Fit"

"Asian fit" spectacles are there for a reason. 

If you are an Asian like me, you have probably tried on an awesome stylish pair of European designer frames, only to be annoyed by the fact that the frame sat on your smiling cheeks rather than on the bridge of your nose!

Frames ought to be stylish and comfortable at the same time because simply - we deserve to be stylish and feeling comfy when carrying that bit of weight there serving its purpose!

TADA ~ my latest pair of Evisu eyewear - down-to-earth enough to be wearing daily.  It has better be worth the money as I was being advised to cut down the wear of contact lenses.

Why Do People Love Adidas?

May be because Adidas gets soccer and...Nike does not? 

If that is so, this is going to change this Summer.
 

For decades, Adidas was practically the only brand in soccer, providing the World Cup's match ball for 11 tournaments in a row.  The sport remains by and large, a significant segment of Adidas' business.  

At the World Cup this year, Nike has elbowed its way in and will sponsor nine teams including the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Holland.   

Can't wait to see the jerseys swap out Adidas's triple stripes for Nike swooshes!  Yeah!

Stiletto

In a magazine I read today, the queen of erotic imagery, Madonna recently compared buying shoes to having sex!

According to the designer Jimmy Choo, the singer told him that buying a pair of his shoes is more satisfying than having sex with a man.

   

She said: "At least you know they are going to last forever."

Victoria Beckham said she can concentrate better when wearing heals.  

What about this pair of Stilettos?  Perhaps only ballet dancers will find its appeal and I'd marvel anyone who aren't and dare walk on it.
